Through Pickleball
BRITE LEADERSHIP COLLABORATION ENY is igniting a legacy of hope, bridging the dreams of elementary, middle, and high school students with the wisdom of seniors 55+ through pickleball. In East New York, we are turning local courts into sacred ground where pride blooms and underserved youth find life-changing mentorship. This is more than a game—it’s a movement to uplift our neighborhood and prove that every child can be a champion. Our goal is to develop a national champion within the next 7 to 10 years right from the ENY and Brownsville community. Why? They are paying a million dollars in national competition and our children have been locked out because of the lack of infrastructure. Over the last few years the NYC Dept of parks have aggressively installed courts throughout the city.

With decades of heart-led service as the longest-tenured NYC Parks volunteer in East New York and central Brooklyn, authored the only resolution against Stop n Frisk as Co-chair of CB 5 Public Safety Committee (Chair A. T. Mitchell). Vincent Riggins has seen our neighborhood shine when we invest our time.. By uniting the wisdom of our seniors with the energy of our youth through Pickleball, he is building a brighter future. Our goal is to cultivate world-class champions right here at Linden Park, proving that East New York’s potential is limitless. Join us and be the spark don't stay in the dark. . .
